AFO 100 Preview Ride

Come experience the AFO course before event day! Join us for a great morning of riding, fellowship, food, and prizes as we preview some of North Georgia’s best roads.

Ride Details

  • Date: August 1, 2026

  • Location: Cumming City Center

  • Ride Start:7:55 a.m. sharp (Please arrive by 7:40 a.m. for pre-ride announcements.)

  • Check the Van Purser Foundation facebook page for weather related cancellations

Route Options

Choose the group that best fits your pace:

A support vehicle will be available with water and snacks at the mid-ride rest stop.

Ride Leaders

The 62-mile ride will be led by Andrew Knight, 12-time USA National Road Race Champion and the 2025 UCI World Time Trial Champion. Experienced ride leaders will also lead the 54-mile group.

After the Ride

When the ride is over, stick around for lunch and fellowship!

Our sponsors, Loudermilk Homes, Loudermilk Designs and PRES Financial, will provide:

  • Pizza

  • Beer

  • A non-pizza/non-alcoholic meal option

Raffle Prizes

Already registered for the 2026 AFO 100? You’ll be entered into a drawing for some great raffle prizes following the ride.

Parking & Meeting Location

Parking is available in the new lot just below Crooked Culture Brewing.

We’ll gather for the ride in the parking lot between Crooked Culture Brewing and Myth & Legend Coffee.
